What can be more delicious than eating a piece of chocolate?? Ohhh let me tell you, digging your spoon into a little individual portion of warm ooey gooey chocolatey cake love that’s what! The minute that outer cake shell breaks and the slow flowing chocolate batter emerges it is pure delight.
Now I am certainly not one to shy away from any food that involves chocolate so when my father in law said he has always wanted to try a molten chocolate cake for his birthday, well I just had to try my hand at making one. I was under the impression that it would be a 2 hour process and that the batter is super temperamental, not the case. This recipe took from start to finish about half an hour. I know 30 min!! Yes it is that quick, simple and the end result is truly amazing!!!!
This is an elegant looking little chocolatey cake and will sure to be a hit whenever you decide to try it out! Don’t wait too long to serve as you want the center to be nice and warm. Some vanilla bean gelato is the perfect accompaniment to this rich and delicious dessert.
