Grilled Asian Red Onion Steak Kebabs are marinated in a saucy Asian red onion sesame sauce and grilled to perfection!
Asian foods have this stigma that they are difficult to make, too many steps or ingredients. This recipe will definitely prove that Asian recipes can be simple and super tasty. Simply mix marinade, let steak marinate overnight and grill! See super simple and the flavor is FANTASTIC!
Let’s talk about the flavor for a second here. The marinade consists of soy sauce, toasted sesame seed oil, garlic and ginger all traditional ingredients in Asian cooking. However I have a secret ingredient I used that just amped up the flavor of these kebabs to a level 10! Red Onion Vinegar, yes you heard me right a Red Onion Vinegar. Not only did this vinegar add a tang to the marinade but a subtle sweetness as well. The addition of this vinegar with the sugar creates this gorgeous glaze on the meat as it grills that is just to die for. I can’t even explain it you will have to try it for yourself!
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Oil & Vinegar. All opinions are entirely my own.
I know I have said this before but Oil & Vinegar truly have the best selection of quality Olive Oils and Vinegars. This vinegar in particular is intensely sweet with the aroma and taste of fresh caramelized onions. I can think of so many other uses for this vinegar like in salad dressings, bruschetta or Caprese Salad I literally could go on and on with ideas!
